Dharam K. Samra or Sam is a thirty-eight year veteran of local and state law enforcement. Sam has conducted thousands of interviews and interrogations in a variety of criminal, administrative, and civil cases.
Sam holds a Master of Forensic Science degree from National University, two bachelor degrees from San Diego State University in history and criminal justice administration and an associates degree in law enforcement. Sam is currently working to obtain a Ph.D. through Capella University.
Sam received his initial polygraph training and advanced training under the late Cleve Backster at the Backster School of Lie Detection. Sam is now qualified to use federal polygraph formats as taught by the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA).
Sam is a full member of the American Polygraph Association (APA) American Association of Police Polygraphists (AAPP) and the California Association of Polygraph Examiners (CAPE) and the International Association for Identification.
Sam is a Certified Forensic Law Enforcement Polygraph Examiner through the American Association of Police Polygraphists and holds a certificate in Post Conviction Sex Offender Testing from the APA and CAPE. Sam is a Certified Primary Instructor through the APA. He is certified by CAPE and APA for advanced and specialized training. Sam has more than 31 years experience as an investigator, detective and special agent. Sam is also an associate of several private detective agencies.
Sam is fluent and literate in Spanish.
